Terms and Conditions for Rightway Movers Ltd.

These agreements govern the services that Rightway Movers Ltd. (“Rightway Movers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers. When you purchase a service from us, you (“Customer”, “you” or “your”) agree with the following terms. Thus, granting our services is unlawful if you do not approve the terms and conditions stated aforementioned.

1. General Information

Rightway Movers Ltd. is a Canadian moving firm that deals with furniture moving which can be commercial or residential. 

We provide three main services:

House Furniture Moving: The physically safe extraction from our homes of our personal property such as furniture.

Office Furniture Moving: Office removals, office fittings and equipment removal, office equipment removal.

Furniture shifting: Taking furniture from one place to another within a given area in a home or an organization is referred to as furniture shift moving.

The following described services must be agreed and it mainly involves the terms and conditions related to the Rightway Movers services.

2. Services Provided

Rightway Movers Ltd. offers the following services:

2.1 House Furniture Moving

The service is moving furniture and other belongings from one house to another and entails loading; packing- normal and tail-end unloading; packing where necessary and unpacking; disassembling and reassembling where necessary.

2.2 Office Furniture Moving

We offer fast and highly competent moving services for office stations, furniture, equipment, and stationery. This encompasses shifting of desks, chairs, file cabinets, computers, and any other item of office use.

2.3 Furniture Shift Moving

This service refers to the moving of furniture from one section of a structure to another. Ornamenting and decorating homes or offices, or changing the location of furniture within homes or offices or from one dwelling or business place to another may form part of it.

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1 Booking Process

Customers have to complete any of the services they are interested in from Rightway Movers Ltd., through electronic platform, phone or email. The booking confirmation might request a valid credit card or any mode of payment whatsoever.

3.2 Scheduling

On accepting your booking, you will be told the estimated date and time we will be available for the moving service. We will try and ensure that the timing is as requested but should the timing have to be changed due to some circumstances such as weather conditions, road conditions etc we will have a right to reschedule.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

He said that cost varies with the kind of service it warrants, how extensive the move would be, distance required to cover, and volume of cargo required to transport. In case of a move, we give a written quote that may change depending on new services or if the time is longer than anticipated. All the prices given are in Canadian dollars, CAD.

4.2 Payment Methods

Also, we embrace the conventional payment methods which include cash payments, bank transfer and credit/debit card payments for payment to our salon. In most cases, the pay is expected to be made at the time when the service was given.

4.3 Deposits

You may decide to ask the customers to deposit certain amount of money and inform them that they cannot demand their money back during the course of the particular booking.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Certain consumers might have been advised that they have to part with a certain sum each time they make a reservation and that they can change their mind and seek a refund at that time.

5.1 Getting Ready to Move

Customers are required to pack all products correctly and make sure they are conditioned to be shipped by the required time. If consumers wish, we will pack parts of it; however, they will have to clear items that might be dangerous or unsuitable for moving.

5.2 Access and Parking

Customers have to allow our moving personnel adequate space and time to do their work on the property. Some of the steps we take include: ensuring that there is adequate space for parking of our cars close to the pick up and delivery points. In case no parking facility is available the consumer may be charged for parking accidents or penalties.

5.3 Liability for Items

It is the customers’ responsibility to make sure that any delicate or precious things are properly packed and declared before the relocation. Damages to improperly packed things or to items that the customer has specifically decided not to transfer are not the responsibility of Rightway Movers Ltd.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Damaged Items

You will agree that we shall use reasonable efforts to ensure the safe handling and delivery of your items. However, rightway movers ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage on property/ items that may occur during the removals process that is beyond our control like items that are packed badly, items that were in a bad state before we packed them or items that are so sensitive that they cannot withstand the movements that are in the course of removing.

6.2 Insurance Coverage

Rightway Movers Ltd. provides the basic liability of an item in case they get damaged while in transit. The standard liability coverage includes at a maximum of $0.60 per pound of the item’s weight. The consumer is advised to seek a full-value protection policy through his or her preferred third party insurance company.

6.3 Not Covered by Insurance

The following products are not covered by our insurance:

  • Carryables, ornaments, money or other valuable papers of relatively low value.
  • Furniture arts including paintings.
  • Perishable items
  • In flammable, explosive, hazardous chemicals, gasses and other related contains and acids.
  • Goods that do not undergo right packing

6.4 Claims Process

Customers must submit a written claim to us within seven days of the transfer being completed if the products are damaged during the procedure. Before transferring, written notice of the claim must be sent together with the item’s condition evidence.

7. Cancellations and Changes

7.1 Cancellation Policy

If the client is receiving any offer to change or cancel the move within 48hrs to the expected moving date, then Rightway Movers Ltd must be informed. There are cases where the organization charges a cancellation fee of the total price invoiced for each booking, which is 20% whenever cancellations are made within 48 hours.

7.2 Rescheduling

Customers often wish to make changes to their move schedule frequently within a week and they do so without incurring any extra cost. However, they should give us at our firm, Rightway Movers Ltd., a one day notice of when they intend to arrive. The consumer will also be charged an extra fee if he or she reschedules within the initial 24 hours.

8. Force Majeure

Rightway Movers Ltd. shall not be liable for any conditions beyond our control such as natural calamities, weather conditions, strike, wars, civil unrest or anything of the nature of force majeure that may hinder the delivery of the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding the nature of negligence alleged or otherwise any claim having arisen from or in any way connected with the services provided by Rightway Movers Ltd, such claim shall be limited to the amount of monies paid to the company by the client for the specific service that led to the claim with the maximum liability contained under this clause being the amount paid by the client.

10. Indemnity

In case where any loss arises from breach of term and condition by the customer, misdeclaration, inadequate packing, or declaration of a perilous product, the customer shall be liable for reimbursing Rightway Movers Ltd.’s agents, employees, affiliates or representatives.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Rightway Movers Ltd. would like to assure you that all personal data provided by you will be used appropriately and securely. Personal information is collected to enable us in providing our services, and we will not sell or pass this information to any third party without your consent except as may be required by law.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Based on this writing, the following terms and conditions will be carried out under the laws of the Province of [Insert Province], Canada. As a result, arbitration or any other form of mediation will be employed in resolving any dispute that arises from or in connection with these agreements.

13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

Rightway Movers Ltd. reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at anytime. We will announce any changes on our websites and it is the duty of the customer to always review such terms. You agree to new conditions when you continue to use our services, after the changes have been made.
